My Newest Business Venture
Owning a business has always been a dream of mine ever since I was a teen. I like the idea of ownership, financial freedom, being in charge, and doing something you created for yourself. I started my first business two years ago as a lifestyle blogger which helped broaden my horizon. I learned alot within these last two years about policies, regulations, marketing strategies, pricing, customer service, and business overall. I feel like a totally different person. I will definitely say if you're looking to become an entrepreneur get ready for challenges , some late nights, and sometimes little sleep. I want to encourage you to enjoy the process, learn all you can learn because it will be rewarding in the end.
A&A Beauty is my latest business venture. A&A stands for April and Avril. When I was a freshman in high school I started experimented with lipstick and foundation. I was forbidden by my parents to wear lipstick because they thought I was too young, but I snuck and wore it anyway. I liked to wear foundation because it covered up my acne and blemishes that I was insecure about. I got teased in high school about my skin imperfections that's why to this day I advocate self love, and self care. The older I got the more I got pulled towards cosmetics, hair and fashion. I believe that as women we should always look and feel our best at all times. My motto is : If You Look Good, You Feel Good"
Pictured above are samples I'm trying out before I make a decision on what I want to add to my online store. My vision is to choose products that I use in my beauty regimen and cosmetics that will enhance other women. Most importantly I want to be true to what I'm promoting.
